Sandals familiarization trip...part 1

I hope everyone is having a great start to this new year!

So last week I got a chance to go to a Sandals resort familiarization trip through the Association of Bridal Consultants. We were at the Sandals Royal Bahamian in the Bahamas and it was a great chance for me to learn about their resorts in order to be able to share it with you and inform you on how Sandals can be a wonderful honeymoon, destination wedding and/or vacation for you and your spouse.

We also became certified Sandals specialist through the training we received there as well as learned about the new things happening with our association.

Anyways...below you will find pictures of my trip there...

Once I arrived in the Bahamas, starting from the airport...Sandals has a booth right inside where they had taxis. I went to the booth and before I could say my name he knew who I was...he then escorted me to the shuttle I was to take to get to the resort.

Once the shuttle got to the resort, someone opened the door for me and another came up to me with a cold towel and escorted me to the welcome area as others took my bag.

The welcome area is a nice room and once you get there they hand you a rose and champagne as they check you in.

After I got settled, I had to meet with my other association members for a tour of the whole facility...

This is at the entrance of the resort...all of the structures are so beautiful as you will see...

The waiting area of the Red Lane Spa - so beautiful in there and smells so nice when you enter

Views of the resort from the fitness center...

A gazebo where you can have a ceremony or have cocktail hour...

Area right across from the gazebo (above) where you can have a small reception or cocktails...

Another area where you can have your ceremony with a beautiful aisle...
A beachside wedding gazebo...

A villa you can stay at...

Japanese teppenyaki restaurant...one of several different restaurants...

Another restaurant...they have many...they also have cafes...

Their photo shop where couples who get married there can view their photos and choose the ones they would like the day after their wedding...

Finally I wanted to show you some pictures of the building where we slept...
Below is the lobby...
The check-in area in the building we stayed in...although they have a welcome area in a different building, this is here for express checkout as well as helping you with other things you may need...
Each room has a bar and in the cabinet below is a refrigerator filled with mixers and even champagne...

This is one of the butler suites...picture of the living room...

The only rooms with two sinks are the butler level suites...

Bed in one of the suites...with two towels made into swans and petals...

Closer view...

Hope you enjoyed the pictures...my next post will be of pictures of other areas like the pool...but wanted to post this to show you the highlights of Sandals.
